TJ and I went to Bergen to see Joe Lynn Turner live with the Norwegian band "Come Taste the Band" (a tribute band to Deep Pruple). It was an amazing show! Great set list, excellent performances and a super crowd! Joe Lynn Turner even sang a few lines to me and posed for a picture :) Unfortunately, we weren't in sync, so the picture turned out blurry. But I got some other great pictures. It's hard to believe that this man is 63 (!) years old. He looks good and sings like a god! Highligts of the show were "King of Dreams", "I Surrender", "Can't Happen Here", "Can't Let You Go", "Street of Dreams", and of course "Man on the Silver Mountain" which he dedicated to Ronnie James Dio and "Long Live Rock N' Roll" which was the last song on the set - perfect song to end a perfect night :) ![]() After the show I went to see the bass player from the band to ask if I could meet Joe Lynn Turner for one minute to take a picture. He said that he would see what he could do, and before I knew it, TJ and I were backstage taking pictures and shaking hands with JLT. Awesome ending to an awesome night! JLT - we love you! <3
