We checked in at Appel Hotel and Konferens. We relaxed a little before we went to Göteborg centrum. We ate at Hard Rock cafe. We both had the Legendary 10 OZ Burger. Yummy! :)
Then we went to Rock Baren. A good lookin' bar with a lot of pictures of Kiss, Rob Halford and Dio and so on, but the music and the music videos on the TV wasn't all that. If you name a bar "Rock Baren" then you simply just don't play shitty hard core music and show fuckin' grunge movies on TV (and btw (for the 1000th time: GRUNGE IS NOT, I REPEAT, NOT, ROCK!!!!). You should play the music with the bands you have pictures off!
So we left that bar and went to another one calle Picasso. There I had a cosmopolitan and TJ a non alcoholic drink.
But the night that was doing so great got pretty shitty when we came back to the car park. Someone had broken our little window on the left side of our Volvo. Nothing was taken from the car, so why someone would even bother doing what they did I really wonder.
We tried to find some security gards, but no luck. I called the security company that was in charge of the surveillance cameras, but they coudn't do much more than write a rapport and tell us to file a police charge. So we went to look for the police, but we couldn't find any, so a nice Swedish guy tried to tell my the way to the station, but we couldn't quite find it. But suddenly a police car came in front of us so we followed it till it stopped and asked for help, and he told us to go to the station the next day, and he also tried to describe where the station was, and this time we found it so we could save it on the GPS till the next day.
Then we went to a gas station to buy some black garbage bags and some duck tape to cover up the broken window. And two hours later after we discovered the incident, we could finally go to sleep.
We are just so greatful that the damage wasn't bigger, that nothing was stolen and that it wasn't any worse. Of course it's a really shitty thing to happen to us when we are on holiday. But once again, we are alive and well, and that's the best thing :)
We just hope that the insurance is okay, and that the car makes it through the rest of the trip.
