This weekend I've been preparing my closet for fall. I removed all white, mint and turquoise, neon colors and other bright colors and light washed jeans. I know you can bring pastel colors into the fall, but it doesn't work for me. Give me black, gray and plum!
So no more summer clothes in this closet! I've also removed all the sandals and light footwear. Bring on the boots! Now it's acutually more fun to open my closet when I don't have to look at bright colors sticking out like a soar thumb. I love white and turquoise when it's spring and summer, but once the calendar hits September, off it goes! I wear black all year around, but now I don't have to feel bad about it. I just love atumn fashion! I don't want snow and cold temperatures, but I love September and October. Such great months to bring out your heavy knit wear, the pretty scarves and the chunky boots. Last year I wrote an article on how to prepare your closet for fall, so if you missed it or just need to refresh your memory, you can read it >HERE< My closet sure has changed since I took these pictures. I've gotten rid of at least half of it (if not more), and I've gotten a lot more treasures to wear which are much more me and my style. Now I got three Jeffrey Campbell shos lining up at the top shelf. Oh yeah!
