Tj and I went to Oslo to see Y&T live on Wednesday 7th of October. I've been a fan of the band for many years, and I'm glad I finally got to see them live. They sounded amazing, and the singer, Dave Meniketti, really impressed me by sounding like he always has. They are quite the jam band, and gave us a great night of musical awesomeness! The band stayed at the same hotel as us, and they had breakfast at the same time we did. I said hello to the bass player and chatted some with Dave when he was looking for bread, ha, ha. We also took the elevator together with the bass player and guitarist. Cool! :) Here's a pic of Dave and some post-gig pics: We also did a little shopping before the gig, and I bought a Gene Simmons signature bass! :D On Wednesday 14th of October we drove to Drammen to see W.A.S.P. live. W.A.S.P. is another band I've been a fan of for a long time, and I'm glad I finally got to see them live too. Blackie is badass, and the band delivered one helluva show. The new songs from their latest album "Golgotha" sounded amazing, and the "oldies" was superb.
After the show I met Miriam from the band Ravage Rose. Awesome and talented chick! Nice to finally have met her after being friends on Facebook and Instagram for a long time :) Here's a pic of Blackie and some post-gig pics:
