I've finally watched the first season of The Carrie Diaries on Netflix. I'm a huge fan of Sex and the City, so I just knew I had to watch this show too, set in the 80s. I love the style, the music, and the drama. In the first book they appeared very young, but they were more mature in the show, and that's good. But age doesn't matter, it was great entertainment, and I hope to watch season 2 sometime soon :) Like I said, I loved the style! All the glitter, the colors and the patterns! I don't wear much color and patterns, but when it's set in the 80s, it's inspo to me. I'm so gonna go all out when the party season comes, and I'm gonna dress very Carrie-ish on Halloween. I wouldn't mind wearing something like that on a daily basis, but it's a small town and people might look at me like I should have been institutionalized. Not that I care, I still dress up like a metal queen and couldn't care less about looks I get. Anyway, here are some photos for inspiration:
 
 Eye shadow quartet 96 Coffee & Poetry I love the make-up that comes in the fall; darker, deeper, beautiful colors. I almost bought all of the products in IsaDora's latest fall collection. So pretty! Can't wait to paint my nails and do an atumn smokey eye look. I've tried the twist-up gloss stick, actually not so dark as it might look, but really nice.
