It's been three years since my surgery, and my last check-up in Oslo was due. I wasn't looking forward to go to Oslo all by myself, but luckily my grandmother decided to come along.
We met Friday morning, had a great breakfast at Grand Hotel and went to have my x-rays, pictures and check done. Everything was okay! :D Then we went to Oslo City and started shopping. And we shopped... A lot! Then we had lunch at The Scotsman. Baked potato with bacon. Yummy! :) We did a little more shopping before we went back to Grand Hotel to check into our room. We stayed on the Ladie's Floor, and had the Mari Boine room. We chilled a little and freshened up before we met up with my grandomther's cousin for dinner. We at at a place called Brasserie. Yummy food and great service! :) We called it a night pretty early, because both of us had traveled by bus/train the night before, and were pretty beat. On Saturday we had another great breakfast before we checked out. I did a litte more shopping before we took the bus home to my place. My grandmother stayed until Monday night. We had a great time just relaxing, watching TV and movies, eating a lot of good food and was a little out and about. Here are some pictures from our trip:
